    How do I access Spark Business Apps?

    1. Go directly to the Spark Digital Apps URL https://apps.sparkdigital.co.nz and browse the site, or Sign Up/Login to start purchasing

    a. Clicking on the tile on your dashboard

    How do I set up a Spark Business Apps account for my company?

    1. Customers that do not use My Spark Digital will need to register first:

    STEP 1: Go to businessapps.spark.co.nz and select the Sign up link in the top right

    STEP 2: Complete the form

    STEP 3: We’ll send you a confirmation email with a link to activate your new account

    STEP 4: You will be prompted to change your password and add security questions

    You’re now ready to use Spark Business Apps.

    2. Existing My Spark Digital customers are already set up. Click on the tile in the dashboard and you’re ready to purchase!

    Company Admin users can add and edit users in their organisation in Spark Business Apps by selecting Accounts, Users and Manage Users

    How do I add a user?

    STEP 1: Log in to Spark Business Apps

    STEP 2: Select Accounts, Users and Manage User

    STEP 3: Select Add new user

    The 'Apps user' checkbox under Application and services roles will already be selected

    How do I add multiple users at the same time?

    The Company Admin can bulk upload new users in Spark Business Apps.

    STEP 1: Log in to Spark Business Apps

    STEP 2: Select Accounts, Users and Manage User

    STEP 4: Select Browse to upload the applicable user file

    Note that if the file is formatted incorrectly or if there are data errors then an error message will display.

    Select Sample file to view an example of what the user file needs to look like.

    Select the File formatting rules and download the pdf for information about how to format the file.

    STEP 5: The ‘Apps user’ checkbox under Application and services roles will already be selected

    STEP 6: An email will be sent to you when the bulk user upload is completed. Selecting the link in the email will display the status of users created

    STEP 7: The new user will receive an activation email and they need to click on the activation link

    STEP 8: The user is prompted to change their password and add security questions

    How do I add or change a company admin?

    The Company Admin role is allocated to the person who first sets up your company’s Spark Business Apps account. This company admin can allocate the same role to another user.

    If your company admin has left your business, or you don’t know who your company admin is, call us on 0800 694 695, option 2 for assistance

    Company admins can:

    • Buy applications and services
    • Assign applications and services to end users
    • Add, remove and view users
    • View and change the company’s default billing information
    • View billing history
    • Upgrade and downgrade apps

    How do I remove or disable users?

    If you choose to disable a user, they’ll lose access to their account access until you enable them again.

    STEP 1: Log in to Spark Business Apps

    STEP 2: Select Accounts, Users and Manage User

    STEP 3: Select the user you want to edit

    STEP 4: Choose the action you want to perform

    How many times can I trial an app?

    You can only trial an application once. How long a trial lasts depends on the application.

    How do I start a free trial?

    Setting up a trial is easy:

    STEP 1: Go to Spark Business Apps

    STEP 2: Search for and select an application with a trial option

    STEP 3: From the application’s page, select the Free Trial button

    STEP 4: If you don’t have an account, you’ll be asked to create an account and you’ll be sent login details. After you’ve logged in, you can access the application from your My Apps page

    How can I find an app or other service on Spark Business Apps?

    There are several ways you can search for and find applications and services using Spark Business Apps:

    • Search by keyword:
      Enter a keyword (e.g. ‘web security’) into the search field and select items from the filter menu.
    • Filter by category:
      Select a category on the left-hand side on the home page to display any relevant applications and services.
    • All products:
      Select All Products on the left-hand navigation to view all apps currently available.

    How do I change my password?

    STEP 1: Go to Spark Business Apps and select the top-right Log In button

    STEP 2: From the login page, select Forgot your password?

    STEP 3: Enter the email address you used to sign up for your Spark Business Apps account, then select send email button

    STEP 4: We’ll send you an email with an activation link

    STEP 5: The activation link will direct you to a page where you can reset your password
